Before I start with the review, there are a couple of things I'd like to mention.
I'd like to thank March House Books for this sweet award. The rules are simple:
Bad Day is written in the 1st person and involves several different characters talking about their lives on this one day. I found this intriguing as the author goes from character to character. You'd think this method would be confusing to follow, but it was actually quite interesting. Devon Cooper delves into each character's lives so well that it's very easy to follow along and relate to what each character is feeling. From Angie's co-workers to policemen to Frank's boss and his wife, it was like watching a movie where we see the involvement of each character and how they relate. Kudos to the author for this style.

Very Inspiring Blogger Award
I'd like to thank March House Books for this sweet award. The rules are simple:
Display the award logo on your blog.
Link back to the person who nominated you.
State 7 things about yourself.
Nominate other bloggers for this award and
link to them.
Notify those bloggers of the nomination.
7 things about myself:
Right now, my favorite color is pink
My creative nook is turning into a very pink corner
I have a laptop skin that has a pink butterfly on a - what else? - pink background
I have a pink cherry blossom mouse pad with a bright pink mouse
I have a pin cushion that I made from an old teacup and saucer that is (of course) pink.
I'm supposed to pass the award on, but everyone seems so busy lately that I'll just let that go for now. Besides, I wouldn't follow your blog if it didn't inspire me.
Book Review - Bad Day by Devon Cooper
Bad Day is a Romantic Comedy. The book starts off with Angie, whose morning is certainly not perfect. Angie has a major presentation to make at work and of all days, this is not the day to run late. Unfortunately, nothing goes her way including getting stuck with a guy in an elevator who is totally afraid of heights.
I enjoyed this book very much and had several chuckles at the different situations going on. When Angie meets Frank in the elevator, I can't help but hope it's going to turn into a love affair. Meanwhile, unknown to them, a bomb threat is called in for this building and the police get involved.
The writer did a magnificent job in pulling all the pieces of this fun story together at the end. Bad Day is an easy-going humorous read about a day that could happen to anyone.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fun romantic read. I give this book
5 out of 5 chuckles for an innovative and funny romance.
Bad Day can be purchased from Amazon for $3.99 for the Kindle version.

Thank you so much Donna. I’ve always loved book plates and am looking forward to seeing this one.
Your pink accessories are very pretty I especially like the laptop skin with the butterfly.
Bad day sounds like a fun read, and if you enjoyed it then I’m sure I will too. I’m half way through the first book in the Amaranthine series as recommended by you – I LOVE it.
Thank you, Donna. It was kind of you.
I'm not a big fan of first person narrative, but I'm sure there will be a few free pages to read. I'll give Bad Day a looksee before I make up my mind.
Barbara, thank you for your comment. You so support all of your friends and are such a good person.
Roger, thank you for your comment. That's the way to do it, read a few free pages first. Somehow I don't see you (such a great horror writer) as a Romance reader.
SO excited to have won! Congrats on the award. Love all the pink! The pin cushion is especially cute. :)
