This Way and That Way

Be the change you want to see in the world. Mahatma Ghandi

 January in Utah

Hello everyone. January is almost over and I tell you, I'll be happy. Utah has been in the frigid temps for several weeks now plus the inversion is hanging over the valley, locking in all the nasty air it can.
Here is a lovely pic of the air we're breathing. See all that yellow in the air? That's what the inversion is holding in. (Inversion - A temperature inversion is a thin layer of the atmosphere where the normal decrease in temperature with height switches to the temperature increasing with height. An inversion acts like a lid, keeping normal convective overturning of the atmosphere from penetrating through the inversion. This can cause several weather-related effects. One is the trapping of pollutants below the inversion, allowing them to build up.)

I'm Interviewed by my Daughter-in-law

Sweet Ange interviewed me on her blog. We are giving away a free 'Always' e-book from Smashwords. Here's the link if you'd like to read the interview or enter the drawing:

Stephanie, thank heavens you don't have this type of inversion. Today the fog hangs very low and we have 97% humidity! Thank you for your comment.
OneMommy, you have such a fun blog. Glad you liked the interview. Thank you for your comment.

I came across the Interview, as I didn't realise that L&L was your DIL. Very nice. The landing page is gorgeous, too. I love the photo of you.
Those goals you have for the year are very admirable. I wish you lots of luck.
Thanks so much for the award as well. You are very sweet, and you are a wonderful supporter of the writing/reading community.
