Humor Break - Take Six

Six Amusements, That Is

Last Friday, I attended the best online party that I've ever been to.  It was so good, the conversations kept going through the weekend.  (Thank you again, Charlotte.)  There's still some comments being made today.  Well, I made plenty of new friends and discovered so many interesting blogs.  But  - all of this took a lot of work too, and after the party I felt like I had the biggest hangover of my life.  I decided it was time for one of my 'let's laugh' posts.

As Aristotle once said, "The secret to humor is surprise."

So, let's get laughing.

Pinterest Humor Board (Mine, of course)

If you belong to Pinterest, then you know there are a lot of funny postings.  Here are some that I've collected:

2.  Have you seen the church ladies newsletter misprints?  Here are just a few:

Weight Watchers will meet at 7 p.m. at the first Presbyterian church. Please use large double door at the side entrance.

The senior choir invites any member of the congregation who enjoys sinning to join the choir.

The Lutheran men’s group will meet at 6 p.m.  Steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread and dessert will be served for a nominal feel.

Don’t let worry kill you.  Let the Church help.

For those of you who have children and don’t know it, we have a nursery downstairs.

Thursday at 5PM there will be a meeting of the Little Mothers Club. All wishing to become Little Mothers, please see the minister in his private study.

The ladies of the church have cast off clothing of every kind and they may be seen in the church basement Friday.

The sermon this morning: 'Jesus Walks on the Water.' The sermon tonight: 'Searching for Jesus.'

Miss Charlene Mason sang 'I will not pass this way again,' giving obvious pleasure to the congregation.

The church will host an evening of fine dining, super entertainment and gracious hostility.

Where do you get these things? They were very funny.
Unfortunately in England, these kind of mistakes are everywhere. People have not only forgotten to speak English properly, they also no longer know or care that it's spoken wrongly.

Roger, thank you for your comment. We do these things a lot here too, only we love to laugh at them.

I found the dog! That is SO cute. I saw a YouTube video with a bog like that - they are just like cuddly bears!

I love teddy bears - on my wedding day we had teddy bears on the invitation, the order of service and handed out chocolate bears to our guests!
